When Milo was 3 months old, my good friend Katie Oborn took these adorable pictures for us! She never fails to amaze me. I absolutely love all of the work she does. She is so good at capturing the best moments and has such a good eye for fun and creative photography. Thank you again Katie for these amazing pictures! I can hardly wait for our next shoot :)

Mr. is 5 months old!!

Milo is 5 months old and i can hardly believe it. He is getting cuter and cuter every day! I always ask myself, 'why did i take so many pictures when he was a newborn?', he's a lot cuter now :) haha there's my confession for the day.

Here's a list of all of his favorite things and talents so far. . .

1. he can drink a 5 ounce bottle in one commercial

2. he sleeps 12 hours a night, and has since he was 2 months

3. he loves tubbies

4. he is constantly reaching for, and holding onto his feet

5. he loves kisses and eating his mom and dad's face

6. he's already learned to 'fake cough' for attention

7. his favorite song is "the wheels on the bus"

8. he is very ticklish

9. he has the most rancid toots and poops because he has special meat-based formula. . . aka 'protein shakes' according to grandpa

10. and he LOVES his mama and dad, along with all of his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins!

I wish I lived in San Diego too!

Milo and I had sooo much fun with the Nelsons in San Diego! It was so hard to leave the nice weather, and of course, them. We did so much and had tons of fun! Thank you again for letting us come hang out and for being amazing hosts. Love you guys!!!!

we played cars on the patio every morning

for all of you who wondered what would happen if you left rhodes rolls out over night. ha. all she wanted were some pull-aparts
bossy LOVED milo! he was so sweet to him and was really good at sharing. . . by sharing i mean throwing his cars and tools at him. He really was so good, that was only out of love
we turned around to find boston reading his book to milo.
without fail, whenever we were in the car, boston had to hold onto his buddy's carseat.
the zoo!
we opted for the smart way and took the gondola and the tour bus.

Like a kid going to Disneyland. . . but really San Diego!

this time i'm not up because Milo needs to eat or be cuddled, i'm up because i am too excited to sleep! Milo is fast asleep so you'd think i would take advantage of the opportunity, but no.
We leave in the morning for San Diego! Milo and i get to spend 9 days with Jamie, Kyle, and Boston :)
Jake is in Korea for two weeks, so we decided to go on our own little adventure for a while. i expect to have nothing but fun while we're there.

"Stones" by Scott Smith

I am ashamed to admit that every night when i climb into bed, i check facebook. I know, i know, it's a problem.
But last night as i scrolled through the news feed, something very special was waiting for me. . . This beautiful video from our VERY TALENTED friend, Scott Smith. Of course it made me cry and does every time i watch it.
Thank you Scott for sharing this with Jake and I, we could never tell you how much it means to us.
