Book Club!!

Yay for book club!!

The girls came over to my house this week for our discussion. Of course, book club is just another good excuse to get together and chat. We have such a cute group of girls in our neighborhood, and i'm excited that there will be even more of them joining us next time!!!

3 things i'm loving today

He has been sick the last couple of days and it has been so heartbreaking! I am finally starting to get my happy baby back. Love you Mr.!!!!!

And Jake. love him! he won't read this, he hates when i make him look at blogs, but i still love him. Thanks for taking me on that hot date to the young men/young womens valentines dance!


And lately, I have been obsessed with popcorn!! I eat a bowl of plain, air popped popcorn every night. It may taste like styrofoam, but i love it!
I got a little fancy the other day and made this yummy sugared popcorn. (yes, this is like one of those nasty sugary treats that only kids enjoy, like peeps and conversation hearts, but don't diss it 'til you try it)


PINK POPCORN

2 C sugar

2/3 C milk

1 T white karo syrup

1 t vanilla

1/4 t salt

food coloring

mix & cook until slightly soft ball-230 degrees. Pour over 6 qts (1 C uncooked popcorn) of popcorn.

*i don't like it too sugary, so i use about 3/4 of the sauce.
